Sola Scriptura

Scripture alone is our plumb line. The only sufficient and infallible rule of faith and practice for the church.

The God Who is there, Who is not silent
God, after He spoke long ago to the fathers in the prophets, in many portions and in many ways, in these last days has spoken to us in His Son, whom He appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the world. And He is the radiance of His glory and the exact representation of His nature, and upholds all things by the word of His power.

(Hebrews 1:1-3 NASB)

Jesus Christ - The Eternal God...Who became a Man.
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
He was in the beginning with God. All things came into being through Him, and apart from Him nothing came into being that has come into being. In Him was life, and the life was the Light of men...
And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we saw His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth.

(John 1:1-4,14 NASB)

What it means to be a Disciple/Follower (Christian)
So Jesus was saying to those Jews who had believed Him, “If you continue in My word, then you are truly disciples of Mine; and you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.

(John 8:31-32 NASB)

What shall we do about this man Jesus - this man crucified?
Therefore let all the house of Israel know for certain that God has made Him both Lord and Christ - this Jesus whom you crucified. Now when they heard this, they were pierced to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, "Brethren, what shall we do?" Peter said to them, “Repent, and each of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins; and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit".

(Acts 2:36-38 NASB)
